I am Chief Edward Hardy, and with over 30 years of law enforcement experience, along with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and two master's degrees in criminal justice administration and counseling and psychology, I am proud to lead this dedicated team of officers.
Our mission is to maintain a safe and secure environment for all members of our community. This website is designed to foster collaboration between our department and the citizens of Clayton. After each upload, the information will be directed to our secure portal, where our Investigation Division will carefully analyze it.

Chief Edward Hardy brings over 30 years of law enforcement experience to the department, with a strong educational background including a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and two master’s degrees in criminal justice administration, counseling and psychology, and a Doctorate degree in organizational leadership development. He leads the department with a commitment to professionalism and community partnership.
